Mission Statement

Kehillat Shalom (KS) is an egalitarian, conservative, participatory, family and community-friendly congregation.  Our congregation is filled with spirit and ruach.   We provide a place where people can pray together and care together, a place where adults and children can learn about Judaism and its rich heritage, where children can feel comfortable in and out of services; a place where everyone knows your name

We feel a commitment and obligation to each other personally as well as to the community at large.  We share our lives with each other.  We rejoice with each other at weddings, births and B’nai Mitzvah.  We comfort each other in times of grief and stress.  Our caring, supportive community embraces conservative Jewish values.
